“I won the Men’s Ba’ on Christmas day 1986. It was special, yeah. Ba memories there are hundreds I would say. Winning the Ba’ was special, it’s a bit surreal really, your feet don’t touch the ground until about the 1st February. We had to host the party in our house, I lived in Broad Street at the time, we were mobbed, all good fun.”
